October 2 – Two charter flights with total 349 tourist from Russia arrived in Goa today officially heralding the new tourist season in Goa. The first flight landed at Mopa airport this morning with 137 passengers onboard from Yekaterinberg, Russia. Second charter flight landed shortly after that at Mopa airport from Mosco with 210 passengers. All the tourists were given traditional welcome with flowers and dance. These charter flights landed at Mopa airport for the first time.
