Oct 9 – Tourism Dept has invited applications from owners of the temporary shacks, huts, cottages in the private properties for new registration and renewal of permissions for Tourist Seasons 2024-25. Depending on the size of the shack the registration or renewal fees range from Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000 For huts & tents the fees range from Rs 5,000 for 10 huts to Rs 75,000 for 50 huts. In addition to this the applicants are also expected to pay applicable GST and GEL processing fee. Details are available on the Official Website of the Department of Tourism (www.goatourism.gov.in). Applications can be submitted to the Registration Facilitation Centre (RFC)s at Paryatan Bhavan, Patto, Panaji and South Zone Office, Mathany Saldanha Complex, Margao from Oct 9 upto April 30,2025.
