Oct 9 – Goa School Management’s Association(GSMA) has urged the government to refrain from stopping the Bal Rath services for schools. The association held a press briefing today to put forth their demands. GSMA has sought that the school management be permitted to appoint pre primary teachers. Timely release of funds for the ‘Bal Rath’ bus service and other maintenance grants, doing away of interest on grants as it is money already spent by the management the previous years, timely audit of educational institutes were some of the other demands put forth by the organisation.
