Nov 18 – All the cooperative and credit societies will be regularly examined to ensure that there is no irregularities or fraud happening in these institutions. Cooperation Minister Subhash Shirodkar said that audit inspection report has been made compulsory for all societies in the state. He also announced that this year Sahakar Bhushan award will be conferred on Dr Dattaram Dessai and Sahara Shree to Pratima Dhond.
