Digital Goa, August, 6 – High Court on Thursday (Aug 6) convicted former Tehelka editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal, overturning his 2021 acquittal in the 2013 Goa rape case. Allowing the Goa government’s appeal, the court convicted Tejpal under Sections 376(2)(f), 376(2)(k), 354A and 354B of the IPC. It will hear arguments later on Thursday on the quantum of sentence before deciding the punishment.
