HC Grants bail to accused in ₹2.38 Crore Investor Fraud Case

Digital Goa, Sept 11 – High Court has granted regular bail to Ramesh Joshi, accused in an alleged ₹2.38 crore investment fraud involving R. J. Papillon Nidhi Limited.Joshi and other company officials are accused of inducing depositors to invest in fixed and recurring deposit schemes by promising high returns, diverting the money to a sister concern and subsequently failing to repay investors. He was arrested on January 27, 2026, while the chargesheet was filed in March. Joshi has been directed to furnish a personal bond of ₹1 lakh with one or two local sureties, deposit his passport, not leave India without the trial court’s permission and refrain from contacting or influencing witnesses.
