Digital Goa, Nov 7 – Panaji Police have registered an offence against Aroon Salman Yeddanapudi from Chimbel for allegedly using a forged birth certificate to secure employment as a Police Constable (Armed Police) in the Indian Reserve Battalion. According to the complaint filed by police, the accused submitted a fake birth certificate purportedly issued by the Government General Hospital, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, during the recruitment process. He was subsequently appointed to the post through an official order dated September 26, 2024.
