Digital Goa, May 19 – Panaji police on Monday interrogated social activist Swapnesh Sherlekar for around two hours following a complaint filed against him over alleged remarks made against BJP and CM Sawant in a video uploaded on his YouTube channel regarding Karapur -Sarvan mega project protest. Members of the BJYM had lodged the complaint on May 18 at Panaji Police Station, alleging that Sherlekar made insulting statements against the BJP and CM Sawant. Meanwhile, Karapur Sarvan villagers who have been protesting against a mega project in their village for last 45 days have extended their full support to Sherlekar and referred to the allegations against him frivolous.
