Feb 5 – A 56-year-old person from Madel, Thivim has been arrested by police today for allegedly sexually abusing several minor children. A 11-year-old boy was rescued from his clutches at Thivim Railway Station, informed Railway Police. The accused is identified as Paul Fonseca. Paul allegedly lured children from underprivileged families with eatables and gifts and sexually abused them Parents of the child have filed a complaint at Colvale police station in this regards. As per the complaint the boy’s sister was also been sexually assaulted by Paul. He has been booked under various sections of BNS, POCSO and Children’s Act. Colvale Police are investigating the matter. “I didn’t do any offence,” Paul told media persons at the police station.
