Feb 20 – The road from Old Goa to Gaudalim will be closed for a period of one year from Feb 25 in view of the work related to Road over Bridge (ROB) at the railway crossing. The road is extensively used by vehicles to travel to Marcel, Bicholim, Sakhalim etc. The GSIDC has announced closure of the road from Fisherman Training Centre, Ella Old Goa to Dempo Football Ground, Gaundalim from February 25,2025 onwards up to Jan 19, 2026 to carryout construction of Road over Bridge (ROB) at LC Gate No. 37. The vehicular traffic during road closure shall be diverted via Banastarim route or Corlim IDC area (Only for Light Motor Vehicle), states a public notice issued y GSIDC.
