Digital Goa, Apr 9 – The Goa government will organise a Scrap Mela to auction around 250 government vehicles. While about 34 of these vehicles are less than 15 years old, the rest are over 15 years old. The mela will be held at three locations – Porvorim, Margao, and Mapusa. Advertisements for the mela will be issued two days in advance, and citizens can directly participate in the auction. The initiative aims to fast-track the disposal of old government vehicles, informed CM Pramod Sawant.
