Digital Goa, August 19 – In a milestone of sorts for Konkani language, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Tuesday announced that simultaneous interpretation of parliamentary proceedings is now available in Konkani along with 21 other languages listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution. Until now, the service was available in 18 languages. With the addition of Kashmiri, Konkani and Santhali, the list is now complete.
