Digital Goa, Sept 12 – The Ponda Municipal Council has announced new, higher house tax rates for properties within its jurisdiction, effective from April 1, 2026. The revised rates, approved on May 8, 2025 and effective from April 1 next year, are set at Rs. 10 per sq. meter for residential properties, Rs. 20 for office/godowns, and Rs. 25 for commercial premises. The move is aimed at increasing municipal revenue.
