Digital Goa, June 12 – State of Art Museum is proposed to be set up in the vicinity of Mormugao Port. Mormugao Port Authority(MPA) has constituted a 8-member committee in this regard. The museum will have artefacts commemorating the significant moments and preserving the antiquities and historical heritage of the Port. According to MPA the museum will also serve as a valuable resource for the students of Goa and also nearby colleges and other visitors interested in understanding the Port’s unique history. The Museum will include old equipment, memorable event photographs, historical reports, documents, literature associated with the Port etc.
