Digital Goa, Dec 15 – The Goa government has declared Saturday, December 20, 2025, as a paid holiday on account of polling day for the General Elections to the North and South Goa Zilla Panchayats. As per a notification issued by the General Administration Department, the paid holiday will be applicable across the state to enable voters to exercise their franchise. The holiday applies to industrial workers, daily wage workers of government departments and state government industrial departments, commercial and industrial workers of private establishments, all private establishments, and daily wage or casual workers employed in any business, trade or industrial undertaking.
