Around 30 passengers escaped serious injury after a tourist bus travelling from Goa to Thrissur overturned near Bekal bridge in Kasaragod, Kerala, at around 2 am today.
According to reports, the driver swerved to avoid an oncoming car that had veered onto the wrong side. The bus lost control, broke through a roadside railing and plunged into a nearly ten-foot-deep low-lying area. A few passengers sustained minor injuries to their hands and legs and were treated at a private hospital. Further information is awaited.
