July 10- State cabinet today approved hike in the salaries of Sarpanch, Dy Sarpanch and Panch members of Panchayats across the state by Rs 2,000. Sarpanchas will now get a salary of Rs 8,000, Dy Sarpanchas Rs 6,500, Panch members Rs 5,500. The decision will cost the state Rs 2.63 crore per annum.
