Dec 7- Video of North Goa MLA in the alleged sextortion case went viral on X(eartwhile Twitter) stirring a hornet’s nest in political circles of Goa. The X user had posted the video yesterday i.e. Dec 6. Reacting to the viral video, Former Aldona MLA Glen Ticlo has demanded resignation of the MLA in question. State BJP spokesperson Giriraj Pai Vernekar has also questioned as to whether it is a case of sextortion or a ‘full blown’ sex scandal. The MLA had complained to the police against Odisha native Kukesh Ravat alleging that he was being blackmailed by Ravat using a morphed objectionable video showing him in compromising position with a woman. The MLA also said in his complain with the police that he paid Rs 5.55 lakh to Ravat. But as he demanded Rs 5 crore more as extortion money, the MLA decided to file a complain. Kukesh was arrested by Goa police based on the MLAs complain. Ticlo today questioned as to why the MLA in question paid the extortion money if he was innocent. Incidentally, Kukesh who had filed a bail application withdrew it today.
