Goa recorded 82.2 mm average rain in last 24 hours; Sanguem highest with 121 mm rain

Digital Goa, July 25 – Monsoon continues to remain active over Goa due to low pressure belt formed in the region. IMD has issued orange alert for next three days with a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall likely in Goa at many places in next three days.
Following rainfall was recorded in major towns of Goa in 24 hours from 8.30 am yesterday to 8.30 am today.
RAINFALL (IN CM) : Sanguem, Ponda 12cm each, Quepem, Margao 10cm each, Canacona, Mormugao 8cm each, Panaji 7cm, Pernem , Mapusa, Dabolim, Sanquelim, Ela (Old Goa) 6cm each.
