Nov 11 – A teacher from Ponda has been booked by police for allegedly cheating a person to the tune of over Rs 40 lakh on the pretext of giving job as LDC in Education Dept. Ponda police have booked the person yesterday. Nearly 6 cases have been booked so far from Ponda area in the scam.
