Dec 20 – Goa government has directed Deputy Collectors and the concerned agencies to finalise the pending applications received for regularisation of unauthorised constructions by March 2025. Govt on Dec 13 has issued a detailed Standard operating procedure(SOP) in this regards for simplification of procedures under the Goa Regularisation of Unauthorised Construction Act. Applications related to houses of tenants are also to be considered for processing. As per reports nearly 7,000 such applications are in pipeline. The authorities have been asked to finalise fixed number of SOPs every month.
