GSPCB urges compliance with new EPR rules for non-ferrous metal scrap

Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) has issued a public notice calling upon all stakeholders involved in handling non-ferrous metal scrap to comply with the new Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) norms issued by the MoEF&CC on July 1, 2025 which are to come into effect from April 1, 2026. The amended rules introduce EPR obligations for the management of non-ferrous metal scrap such as copper, aluminium, lead, and zinc.
