Manoj cites ‘dirty politics’, internal rift as reasons for his RGP exit in his resignation letter
RGP president and founder member Manoj Parab has cited internal rifts and “dirty politics” as the reason behind his resignation from the party and announcement of his exit from active politics. In his resignation letter addressed to party general secretary, Parab said the movement which started nine years ago with a dream to fight for Goa and Goenkars had been derailed by internal politics and individual power-centric functioning. He said a recent meeting in Margao by some party members allegedly aimed at breaking the party deeply hurt him and left him shattered after years of sacrifice, dedication and emotional investment in the movement. Parab said while he may have failed to take some decisions at the right time, he remained proud of having helped create leaders who could fight for Goa fearlessly. Declaring his exit from active politics “forever”, he said his inner voice did not permit him to engage in ‘dirty politics’
