Griha Aadhar money will be stopped if Aadhar not linked to bank accounts by April 1,2024: WCD

    Digital Goa, Dec 13 – Directorate of Women and Child Development has warned Griha Aadhaar Scheme beneficiaries of temporarily suspending their financial assistance after April 1, 2024 if they fail to link their Aadhar numbers with their bank accounts before that. The dept has informed that monthly disbursement of all the Griha Aadhaar Scheme beneficiaries will be done through Aadhaar Bridge Payment System only and no disbursement will be made through bank account based transfers on or after April 1, 2024. Hence all the applicants/beneficiaries who have not linked their aadhaar number to their bank account number for Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS)/Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), should get it done by approaching their respective bank branch before April 1, 2024, failing which the financial assistance will be suspended till the linkage of Aadhaar number to the Bank Account for AEPS/DBT, added WCD.
