Dec 15- Release of video purportedly of Suleiman alias Siddiqui Khan is a trick used by hardened and clever criminal to deflect the attention of the Goa police from the efforts to track him, claimed DGP Goa Alok Kumar. “Our efforts to track him early will continue. This seems to be the trick of a hardened and clever criminal,” said DGP. Our investigations so far have not indicated connivance of any police personnel except Constable Amit Naik, he added. In the video purportedly of Suleiman released by Congress leader Sunil Kauthankar, he is seen as saying that he did not escape but was escorted by two teams of Goa police comprising of 10-12 police personnel to Hubli. He also alleged of assault by police and involvement of politician in the matter. Stating that he may be encountered by Goa police, he has said he is ready to surrender if his case is taken away from Goa police and given to CBI.
