Digital Goa, Sept 28 – Cyber Crime Police Station, Goa, has arrested a 22-year-old man from Caranzalem on charges of violating the privacy of his ex-girlfriend and circulating her private photographs on social media.The accused, identified as Sadhim Mohammad, allegedly created multiple fake Instagram and Snapchat accounts after the relationship ended, and shared the complainant’s images with her friends. The matter was registered under Sections 79 and 356 of BNS and Sections 66-C, 66-E, 67, and 67-A of the IT Act. Police said the accused was placed under arrest as he was uncooperative during interrogation. He was produced before JMFC and remanded to two days police custody.
