State Civil Supplies dept has migrated all online ration card services from the National Food Security Act (NFSA) portal to the new SMART-PDS-based RCMS module. Citizens must now access ration card-related services through the newly launched SMART-PDS portal at ga.smartpds.nic.in. Services previously available through the NFSA portal have been discontinued.The portal will facilitate a range of services including applications for new ration cards, separate ration cards, deletion and surrender of ration cards, transfer of ration cards, addition or deletion of family members, change of scheme, and change of head of family. The department has also made online submission mandatory for all ration card-related applications. However, senior citizens and others unable to submit applications independently can seek assistance from officials stationed at Civil Supplies Taluka offices. Beneficiaries facing difficulties or grievances related to online ration card services have been advised to contact their respective Civil Supplies Taluka offices for assistance.
