Digital Goa, August, 23 – Goa government will soon launch the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana to provide affordable housing to Goans who do not own a house, CM Pramod Sawant announced. The scheme, expected to be launched shortly, plans to utilise ready flats available with government agencies, including the Housing Board and rehabilitation authorities, among others informed CM. The initiative aims to ensure that Goans who still do not have a home of their own decades after Goa’s Liberation are provided affordable housing.
